Licensed Practical Nurse Norma Hoerler helps Orville Matthies down a hallway at the New Richland Care Center Friday. NRCC is New Richland’s largest employer with more than 120 employees. Several nursing homes consider themselves in a crisis state due to less funding and an increasing population of people needing care.
