Jon Larson of Albert Lea, washes off one of his family Holstein dairy cows Tuesday at the Freeborn County Fair. He said normal washing would only take about 10 minutes, but due to the heat he was spending about an hour spraying the cows – for his benefit as well as the animals. Larson’s family has been entering the fair for the past 32 years while he has entered in 26 of them.
