It will have to wait.

The Tigers had yet another tough one Thursday night, this time winning 2-0 over Owatonna.

&uot;We started off a little sluggish in the first half,&uot; said ALHS coach Todd Lange. &uot;The ladies really picked up the intensity in the second half, and it showed in the score.&uot;

After a scoreless first half, Brie Woitas put the Tigers on the board 10 minutes into the second. Amy Ravenhorst assisted.

Brooke Plantage scored on a corner kick with eight minutes left in regulation.

Liz Reynen was in goal for her second shutout of the season. The Tigers were outshot 16-12.

Lange said Reynen, Plantage, Ravenhorst, Woitas and Katie Stenseth played well.

Albert Lea’s junior varsity and ninth-grade teams lost.

The Tigers, 2-4-2 in the Big Nine and 3-5-2 overall, travel to Mankato West Saturday for an 1 p.m. game.
