NORTHWOOD, Iowa – A week after going overtime to win their homecoming football game, the Northwood-Kensett Vikings got to go home early.

NORTHWOOD, Iowa – A week after going overtime to win their homecoming football game, the Northwood-Kensett Vikings got to go home early.
They beat visiting CAL-Dows 56-6 Friday night, ending the game by the 50-point rule with 4:07 remaining.
The Vikings improved their record to 5-0.
N-K dominated, building a 28-0 first-quarter lead while outgaining the visitors 484-77 in total yards.
Tom Carmody needed only six carries to top 100 yards rushing. He scored two touchdowns.
The Vikings did not punt in the game.
James Erickson led the defense with 12 tackles. Nathan Loberg had 10.
