GLENVILLE – After finishing strong in last weekend’s Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Invitational, the Glenville-Emmons volleyball team picked up where it left off.

GLENVILLE – After finishing strong in last weekend’s Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Invitational, the Glenville-Emmons volleyball team picked up where it left off.

The Wolverines, who took the consolation crown in the tournament, took care of visiting LeRoy-Ostrander in three games Tuesday night, winning 15-2, 15-5, 15-9 at Glenville.

&uot;A lot of kids got to play, and they all contributed,&uot; said Wolverines coach Craig Rayman. &uot;The kids played smart. Overall, this group is a tremendous bunch to work with.&uot;

A bunch of players had solid numbers Tuesday.

Megan Avery was the top server, going 18-for-18. She also had eight kills, four tip kills and one block kill.

Alisa Rayman registered a team-high 14 kills, going 13-for-14 serving with two aces.

Jenna Brackey led the Wolverines with 18 set assists.

Other statistics: Jill Delger, 3-for-3 serving, three kills; Jill Yost, 5-for-5 serving, one ace, one kill; Emily Wulff, 5-for-7 serving, two aces; Heidi Hansen, 3-for-3 serving, one ace, one kill; Kelly Yost, 2-for-2 serving, two tips; Lauren Bremer, 3-for-4 serving, one kill; Katie Brackey, 12-for-13 serving, three aces, 15 assists.

The Wolverines served 90 percent, 67-for-74.

The Wolverines, 7-5 overall, host Lanesboro in a Southeast Conference match Thursday.
