But it wasn’t nearly as physical as Monday.

The Wolverines, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Medford 3-2 Monday, swept LeRoy-Ostrander 3-0 in the final match of the regular season Tuesday at LeRoy. The Wolverines won 15-12, 15-7, 15-6.

&uot;It was kind of emotional, with the seniors playing their last game (of the regular season),&uot; said Rayman. &uot;This is such a good group to work with. So many of them contribute. A lot of kids have done a lot of things to contribute to the success of this program.&uot;

And the Wolverines have had a successful season, finishing 7-3 in the Southeast Conference while improving to 14-8 overall.

The leaders Tuesday: Megan Avery, 7-for-8 serving, nine kills; Jill Yost, 6-for-6 serving; Alisa Rayman, 13-for-15 serving, two aces, 15 kills, one block; Emily Wolff, 4-for-5 serving; Heidi Hansen, 1-for-1 serving; Kelly Yost, 2-for-3 serving, two kills, one block; Lauren Bremer, one kill, one block; Amy Sola, four kills, one tip, one block; Jenna Brackey, 28-for-28 serving, five aces, eight set assists; Katie Brackey, 8-for-8 serving, 17 assists.

Coach Rayman said Jill Yost did a good job passing while the Brackey twins continued to serve and set the ball well.

Against Medford, the Wolverines led 14-11 in the first two games but lost both 16-14. They bounced back to win 15-7, 15-2, 15-10.

&uot;The girls didn’t give up,&uot; said Rayman. &uot;They had to play well the last three games and they did.&uot;

The Wolverines start sub-section play next week.
