Mildred A. Schultz, 69, Easton

Funeral services for Mildred A. Schultz, age 69, of Easton, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton.
The Rev. Thomas Cook will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, rural Easton.
Mildred died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at the Good Samaritan Center, Albert Lea, from complications of diabetes.
She was born July 5, 1932, the daughter of John and Theresa (Chirpich) Klocek In rural Wells. She married Victor J. Schultz on April 24, 1951, in St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells.
Mildred graduated from Wells High School in 195O. She and Vic farmed all of their lives on a farm near Easton. She enjoyed gardening, collecting recipes and baking. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, MCCW and the Easton Senior Citizens.
She is survived by one brother, Jerome “Jerry” Klocek of Minneapolis; four sisters-in-law: Carmel and her husband Raymond Murphy of Blue Earth, Marvel Kuhn of Wells, Anita and her husband Fred Virnig of Blue Earth, and Marjorie Schultz of Easton; one brother-in-law, Leon and wife Midge Schultz of Easton; aunts and uncles: Margaret Klocek of Wells, Hedwig Klocek of Wells, Anna Yokiel of Wells, Raymond Klocek of Wells, and Philip and wife Viola Klocek of Ellendale; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vic, in 1983; and infant daughter, Jean Marie.
