Beryl M. Hillstrom, age 87, of St. Paul, formerly of Albert Lea, died on Friday, April 5, 2002.

Word has been received of the death of Kjell Stolaas on April 5, 2002.

Genevieve June Jensen, age 87, of Owatonna, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at the Owatonna Hospital.

Funeral services for Knute J. Morreim, 85, of Albert Lea will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Central Freeborn Lutheran Church. Rev. Linda Gunderson will officiate. Interment will be in Central Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Funeral services for Pearl M. Prescher, 84, of Wells will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. A visitation will be at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 15, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

The funeral service for Margarita &uot;Mage&uot; Valdez of Albert Lea will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday April 15, 2002 at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church. Father Kurt Farrell will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Bonnerup Funeral Service Albert Lea and one hour before the service at the church.

A funeral mass for Benjamin J. Winkels, 77, of Austin will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturdaye April 13, 2002 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Paul Nelson officiating.

Funeral Services for Vern A. Braund, 39, will be 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 17, at United Lutheran Church in Walters. Rev. Don Rose will officiate. Visitation will be at the Bruss – Heitner Funeral Home in Well from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Walters Cemetery with military honors by the Kiester American Legion Post.
