ROCHESTER &045; It looks like Emily Bartusek is ready for the postseason.
The same can be said of her teammates.
Bartusek, a three-time state entrant, won two events and took second in another as the Albert Lea High School girls’ track and field team finished a strong fourth in the Big
Nine meet at Rochester Friday.
Rochester Century won the meet with 239 points, with Mankato East a close second at 234. Owatonna had 129, Albert Lea 110, Mankato West 109.
&uot;The girls had a super day,&uot; said ALHS coach Margo Wayne. &uot;They all performed beyond expectations. They competed well, times dropped. It was really an exciting day. We’re looking good for sections.&uot;
