&uot;Obviously, the six errors and several other plays we didn’t make in the field didn’t help or pitchers any,&uot; said Glenville-Emmons coach Louie Toulouse. &uot;That was the story of the ballgame. We just didn’t field well and gave them too many chances to score.&uot;

Meier was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate but only two other G-E players had hits, Matt Learn and Nathan Cooper.

The loss dropped G-E’s record to 3-4. The team hosts New Richland Friday at 7 p.m., plays Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hayfield and travels to face the Austin VFW in a doubleheader Sunday at 6 p.m.
