Conger turns 100

This float in the Conger Centennial parade on Sunday afternoon

really emphasized the reason for the weekend celebration in this

community. The parade featured high school bands from Alden-Conger,

United South Central and Albert Lea, a lineup of farm equipment,

floats sponsored by many organizations and business firms, and

several political candidates.
