Memorial services for Jane A. Owen of Albert Lea will be held at a later date in Cannelton, Ind., at St Michael’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in St Michael’s Cemetery.

Owen died Friday morning at the Albert Lea Medical Center following a brief illness.

Jane was born on Nov. 20,1924 in Cannelton, Ind.

Jane was a teacher all of her life and especially enjoyed working with children with special needs.

Survivors include sisters Mary and her husband Edward Claassen of Albert Lea, Margie and her husband Clarence DeWitt of Evansville, Ind., several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving, is one foster son Ralph Hoosier.

Those preceding her in death include her parents John Edgar Sr. and Gertrude (Livers) Owen and one brother John E. (Buddy) Owen Jr.
