Robert ‘Bob’ Smith, 72, Greeley, Colo.

Memorial services for F. Robert &uot;Bob&uot; Smith, age 72, of Greeley, Colo., will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Allnutt Funeral Service &045; Macy Chapel &045; in Greeley.

He died on Saturday, July 27, 2002, at the Centennial Health Care Center, Greeley.

Bob was born on Dec. 2, 1929, in Albert Lea, the son of Fred W. and End Belle (Harris) Smith.

He married Barbara Prihoda, on March 1, 1953, in Albert Lea. He was formerly from Albert Lea and Winter Park, Colo., and had lived in Greeley since 1967. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1948 and attended Ray Lynn Photography School in Chicago, Ill. He worked at Smith Automotive Supply in Albert Lea for 14 years. He founded Diesels Incorporated, now Rocky Mountain Fuel Injection, and retired in 1994. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Greeley, Occidental Lodge and Eastern Star, and Weaver’s Guild. He enjoyed lapidary, needlework, weaving and spinning, wood carving, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, He also enjoyed bird watching in the mountains, skiing, hunting, and golf.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Smith of Greeley, Colo., 80634; daughter,Elizabeth B. Reese of Eaton, Colo.; son, Matthew R. Smith of Greeley; son, Spencer Smith of Eagan, Minn.; daughter, Cindy Thompson of Evans, Colo.; sister, Winni Nolting of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Amy Ellis, and Wes, Holly, Ken Thompson; grandchild, Casey and Emily Reese; and grandchild; Trenton and Mason Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers:
