Thelma Marie Jackson, 82, Rochester

A memorial service for Thelma Marie Jackson, age 82, of 118 Eleventh Ave. S.E., Rochester, formerly of Albert Lea, will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Rochester. The Rev. Glenn Frerichs will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Johnson Funeral Home Services, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.

She died Monday, July 15, 2002, at the Rochester Health Care Center of natural causes.

Thelma Marie Houser was born on July 10, 1920, in Pine River, Minn. She married Emery T. Jackson on Jan. 26, 1940, in Albert Lea

She moved to Albert Lea in 1926, to St. Louis Park in 1961, and to Rochester in 1966, where she remained until her death. She was a homemaker, and member of St. Francis Church, senior citizens, and

Ladies Bible Study. She enjoyed team bowling, knitting, crocheting, swimming, and ballroom dancing.

Survivors include her husband, Emery T. Jackson; children: Tom Jackson of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Suzanna (Mrs. Gary) Hedstron of Brooklyn Center, Minn., and Barbara (Mrs. Jerry) Solheim of Rochester; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Houser.
