Memorial services for Judith Ann (Whipple) Legried, age 57, will be at the Township Hall, Gordonsville, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate.

Judith passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Bethel Care Center in St. Paul.

Judith was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Austin to Milford and Dorothy (Elfson) Whipple.

She graduated from Austin High School in 1963.

Judith was united in marriage to Ivan Legried in Austin on Nov. 26, 1966, at the Lutheran church.

Judith worked at Land O’Lakes in Albert Lea after graduation, and after marriage worked at Walker Methodist Nursing Home in Minneapolis.

Survivors include her husband, Ivan of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; son, Randy of Parkers Prairie, Minn.; sisters-in-law: Bonita (James) Tuttle of Ladysmith, Wis., Eleanor (Arlan) Carlsgaard of Glenville, and Sylvia Meuser of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; mother- and father-in-law, Iva and Raymond Legried; and sister, Joyce Armstrong of Tacoma, Wash., who passed away on Aug. 10, 2002.
