Betty L. Dylla, 72, Wells

Betty L. Dylla, age 72, of Wells died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at her home in Wells. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. Officiating clergy will be the Rev. Eugene Stenzel.

Visitation will be at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells on Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Interment will be at St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells.

Betty was born March 24,1930 in Walters, the daughter of Millard and Bernice (Munson) Haukoos. Betty grew up in the Walters and Albert Lea area. She was a waitress and sales clerk at various businesses.

She married Raylius &uot;Ray&uot; Dylla on April 19, 1951 in Wells. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and volunteered for many activities.

She is survived by two sons, Lonnie (wife Rene) Dylla of North Mankato, and Gayle Dylla (special friend Marveen Drill) of Madison Lake; four grandchildren; Nick (wife Chris) Dylla, Misty Dylla, Tyler and Jordan Dylla; and grand dog Buddie; one great-granddaughter Jordyn; her mother, Bernice Haukoos of Albert Lea; five sisters, Maxine Savick of Albert Lea, Bev (husband Leo) Dylla of Wells, Pat Haugh of Albert Lea, Janis (husband Earl) Seay of Round Rock, Texas and Marcia (husband Dick) Schorman of Villa Park, Ill.; two brothers, Dennis (wife Inez) Haukoos of Lakeville, and Ron (wife Mary) Haukoos of Bricelyn; sisters-in-law Helen Jacobsen and Ella Dylla of Wells, Mary Ann Krueger of Mankato, Adeline Anderson of Wenatchee, Wash., Donna Allen of Alden, and Ardis Orman of Estherville, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Millard; and husband, Ray.

Memorials are preferred to United Hands Hospice of Blue Earth.
