Delbert DeRaad of Apple Valley, formerly of Hollandale, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002.

He was the son of Elmer and Sylvia DeRaad. He attended school in Hollandale. He served as a gunner in the Air Force. After he returned he married Lillian Ruby from Thief River Falls. He became a master plumber.

He is survived by daughter, Lynn of Apple Valley; sons: Richard of Minneapolis, Mark of Arizona, Mike of Minneapolis, and Bruce of Hawaii; many grandchildren; and also by six sisters: Elnora Carey, Marilyn Abbe, Lillian Snider, Shirley Stundhal, Starlene Anderson and Gloria Vinge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Waltz; and brother, Merril DeRaad.

Funeral services will be held in Minneapolis.
