James Eric Luckstein, 25, Plainview

Funeral services for James Eric Luckstein, age 25, of Plainview, Minn., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plainview. The Rev. David Frederickson will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Visitation will be 3:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Schad and Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview, and one hour prior to the services at the church. A prayer service will be 8:30 p.m. Friday.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, in a motor vehicle accident in rural Wabasha County.
He was born Sept. 13, 1977, in Blue Earth, the son of Donald and Rebecca (Faugstad) Luckstein.
James was baptized Oct. 2, 1977, at the Scarville Synod Lutheran Church in Scarville, Iowa, and confirmed May 3, 1992, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Plainview. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Plainview, kindergarten through eighth grade, and graduated from Plainview Community High School in 1996. He graduated from R.C.T.C. in Rochester with a horticultural degree in 1999, and was currently employed as a grounds superintendent at Piper Hills Golf Course, Plainview. James was an avid golfer and billiards player, and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his parents: Donald and Rebecaa Luckstein of Plainview; and two brothers: David Luckstein of Duluth, and Aaron Luckstein of Millville, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
