GILMORE CITY, Iowa &045; The Lake Mills wrestling team finished fourth out of eight schools in Saturday’s Turkey Valley Invitational.

Clarion was first with 209 points, followed by Battle Creek with 175, Twin River Valley 154, Lake Mills 148.5, Carroll 127, Northwest 92, Obedott-Arthur 85 and Greene 73.

The Bulldogs, who forfeited four weights, had four finalists and one champion.

Dan Helgeson took the title at 125 pounds, improving his record to 6-0 with four pins. Brent Tweed was second at 103, as was Keith Hebrink at 135 and Jake Koeppen at 215. Koeppen ran his record to 5-1 with four pins.

Also placing: Derek Rosen, third, 119; Spencer Stensrude, fourth, 130; Tony Langfald, sixth, 145; Andy Langfald, sixth, 152; Andrew Hagen, third, 160; Ray Fjelstad, third, 275.

Rosen took his first loss of the year in seven matches. He has six falls. Hebrink is 5-2, Hagen 5-2.
