Man robs gas station with knife

A man wearing a ski mask and wielding a large knife robbed an Albert Lea gas station Sunday night, police said.
The man entered the BP station at 901 W. Main St. around 11 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk, who handed over the cash and then tripped a robbery alarm. Police arrived around 11:10 p.m., after the suspect had fled. The clerk was not injured.
The robber is described as a man around six feet in height, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants along with the ski mask, police said.
