Semi, car collide on North Bridge Avenue

Slippery road conditions caused an accident between a semi

and a car on North Bridge Avenue (County Road 22) near the corner

of Holger Lane just before 8 a.m. today. The overturned semi,

carrying garbage, blocked the roadway just south of the Good Samaritan

Center in Bancroft. Albert Lea firemen used an extraction tool

to remove the driver of the car. The driver was taken to the Albert

Lea Medical Center. Details as to the names of the drivers or

their condition wasn’t available at press time.
