Police search school for drugs

Thursday police dogs and police searched the Albert Lea High School and the parking lot for drugs and drug paraphernalia.
At the same time, the school held a &uot;lock down&uot; drill, which practices safety in case a school shooter were to come into school, according to Liz Keeling, a teacher at the school.
Superintendent Dave Prescott was unavailable for comment. High school principal Al Root refused to comment on the matter without the consent of the superintendent.
