First baby of 2003

Doug and Angie Bacon of Lake Mills watch as their son, Caleb,

yawns Thursday morning at the Albert Lea Medical Center. Caleb

was the first baby born in 2003 at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

He was born at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, weighing eight pounds and

nine ounces. Angie is also the mother of a 13-year-old son.
