Andrew Evald Jorgensen, age 90, of Otto, N.C., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at his residence.

A native of Alden, he was the son of the late Andrew Christian Jorgensen and Agnes Johansen Jorgensen. He was a retired production controller for Patrick Air Force Base. He was a member of Pine Castle Methodist Church, Orlando, Fla.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Grace Gardiner Jorgensen; three children: Brenda Thomas of Columbia, Md., Leslie Gruen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Andrew Jorgensen Jr. of Lake Waccamaw, N.C.; four sisters: Alvina Smith of Albert Lea, Ardis Petersen of Alden, Pearl Garvin of Orlando, Fla., and Priscilla Bergstrom of Albert Lea; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Hires will officiate. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the church.
