Memorial services for Leslie F. Ugland, age 66, of 915 Maple Hill will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel Baker will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the Freeborn County Servicemen’s Organization. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.

Leslie died on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003 at the Thorne Crest Retirement Center.

Leslie Franklin Ugland was born on Aug. I O, 1936 in Lake Mills the son of Nels and Clara (Larson) Ugland. He attended rural school in Twin Lakes, and later served his country in the U.S. Army. Leslie worked for and retired from Northern Tool and Equipment.

Survivors include his children, Brenda Lynn Kachergan and Todd Vangen. Five grandchildren. Brother, Marlin and wife Myrtle Ugland of Albert Lea; sister , Karen and husband Roger Finlayson of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Donna and husband Gene Novak of Austin.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman Ugland.
