Couple takes money from Midwest Antiques

A young couple took a purse and money bag away from a downtown Albert Lea business Wednesday, the Albert Lea Police Department said.
According to the police report, the couple showed up at Midwest Antiques on West College Street before noon. The man, described as looking between 25 to 30 years old, took the clerk’s purse and money bag from the cash register, while the woman, who was described as looking around 25 years old, called the attention of clerk asking questions and using her baby as a diversion.
The man is about five feet and five inches tall, has brown hair and wore a black coat. The woman is about five foot tall, has shoulder length brown hair and had cold sore on her upper lip, the report said.
