Police take three Iowans into custody on meth suspicion

Albert Lea Police Department put three Iowans in custody after they bought boxes of cold pills at Wal-Mart Thursday. The three were charged for conspiring to produce methamphetamine.
Michael Wayne Selvidge, 34, Robert Wayne Lamirande, 30, and Caria Nicole Scott, 26, were apprehended at the store.
According to the criminal complaint, the police found six boxes of pesudoephedrine in their car and three more just purchased by Lamirande. Selvidge admitted that the pills were for making meth, and said the other two people were not involved.
The police also found meth in small plastic bags and several marijuana cigarettes in the car. Selvidege contended everything in the car was his.
Judge James Broberg set a bail at $100,000 for each of them Friday.
