Douglas K. Schnebly, age 51, of Faribault, died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at his home.

The funeral service will be at First English Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard L. Jorgensen officiating. Interment will be in Woodbury Cemetery, Lyle.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, from 4-8 p.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, and also at the church for one hour prior to the services on Thursday.

Douglas Kenneth, the son of Bill and Ruth (Madson) Schnebly, was born Jan. 29, 1952, at Albert Lea. He attended Albert Lea High School and the Faribault Technical College. On June 17, 1972, he married Mary Ellen Billadeau at the Little Brown Church. He was a machinist and worked at McQuay’s in Faribault for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Schnebly of Faribault; a daughter, Amie (and Kevin) Wunderlich of Andover; a son, Jason Schnebly of Andover; two grandchildren; five siblings: Diane (and Al) Oppegard of Las Vegas, Nev., Steve (and Toni) Schnebly of Long Lake, Ruth Ann Weiler of Maple Grove, Bill (and Cheryl) Schnebly of Champlin, and Robert Schnebly of Washington State.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
