House burns in Pickerel Lake

Firefighters work on putting out a house fire Friday evening

at 16612 670th Ave. in Pickerel Lake Township. Nobody was in the

home when the fire began. Larry Lembke was in a nearby barn and

called 911 around 6 p.m. after discovering the fire. The fire

ruined the house’s roof. Albert Lea Township, Alden, Conger, Emmons

and Twin Lakes fire departments all responded.
