&uot;It was the same story,&uot; said coach Joe Sczublewski. &uot;We just need to start putting that timely hit in to score some runs, and we’re not getting it.&uot;

The offensive highlight for the Tigers &045; and their only run &045; came in the top of the seventh inning on a home run by sophomore Ryan Truesdell.

Nick Veldman, Dave Heijerman and Nate Loberg added one hit each for the Tigers.

Josh Diaz pitched a complete game for Albert Lea, allowing four earned runs on 10 hits, with two walks and four strikeouts.

&uot;Other than the first couple innings, Diaz pitched pretty well,&uot; said Sczublewski. &uot;But we got in a hole early, and it’s awful tough to come back against a good team when you spot them that many runs.&uot;

The Tigers are scheduled to host Mankato East today.
