Funeral services and burial for Lorraine Edwardson Van De Riet of Palo Alto, Calif., will be held at 1:30 p.m., May 20, at Lakewood Cemetery in Albert Lea. The Rev. Don Rose will officiate.

Mrs. Van De Riet died March 18, 2003 at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City, Calif. She was 79 years old.

Lorraine was born in Owatonna and grew up in Albert Lea. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota.

She is survived by two children, one brother, and three sisters-in-law.
