Memorial services for Timothy Paul Edwards, age 41, of Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. David Hernes will officiate. Interment will be in Hollandale Cemetery. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services at Bayview.

Tim died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at his home in Albert Lea.

Timothy Paul Edwards was born Feb. 5, 1962, to Harold and Betty (Johnson) Edwards in Albert Lea. He attended Albert Lea High School and Albert Lea Technical College for two years, studying diesel mechanics and welding. Tim was employed as a welder at Streater’s. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, demolition derbys, working on cars and camping.

Survivors include his parents, Harold and Betty Edwards of Emmons; son, Tylor Edwards of Albert Lea; sister, Vicki and her husband Jerry LaCroix and their children, Danielle, Shane, Chad, Lori and Travis, all of Wasilla, Ala.; brother, Michael and wife Sheila Edwards of Albert Lea and their children, Brandon and Brianna, of Denver, Colo., Jenessa, Carissa, and Christopher, all of Albert Lea; brother, Bryan and wife Shelly Edwards of Laporte, Minn., and their children, Beau of Walker, and Joshua and Lacey of Laporte; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
