Margaret (Peg) Gallagher Hoffman, age 84, died June 7, 2003 at the Hopkins Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents: Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Gallagher of Blue Earth; and brothers: Robert and Mark.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Vosler (William) of Albert Lea; six nieces; a nephew; and many grand-nieces and -nephews.
Peg graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota. She was employed by the American Red Cross during World War II. After the war, Peg was an office administrator with Exxon in Washington, D.C. Her most cherished job in Washington was Clerk of the Judiciary Subcommittee, House District of Columbia Committee. Peg was very involved in the Democratic Party as a volunteer assisting many candidates for office in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Blue Earth.
Memorials are preferred to the Hopkins Care Center, 725 2nd Avenue South, Hopkins, MN 55343.
