Funeral services for Naomi E. Jensen, age 86, formerly of Clarks Grove, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove. The Rev. Douglas Smither and the Rev. William Damberg will officiate. Interment will be in the Clarks Grove Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to the services on Saturday. Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Naomi died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Sunset Home in Kenyon, Minn.

Naomi Elizabeth Jensen was born Dec. 5, 1916, in Minneapolis. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Edison High School. On March 30, 1940, Naomi was united in marriage to Robert D. Jensen in Minneapolis. The couple moved to the Clarks Grove area and farmed for many years. Naomi was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove and was active in various church organizations. She enjoyed music and singing in the choir and was a soloist for many weddings and funerals.

Survivors include her daughters: Roberta and husband William Damberg of Loveland, Colo., Ann Dee and husband Tom Larkin of Kenyon, and Margueritte Uveges and fianc Glenn Wandersee of Hugo, Minn.; grandchildren: Rebeka and husband Jayson Sandeen, Louis and wife Brittany Damberg, Emil and wife Laurie Damberg, Matthew and wife Tammi Uveges, and Vicky and husband Rich Bowers; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and brother, Emmett.
