Funeral services for Sylvia Naomi Gregerson, age 93, of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, at the First Baptist Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Clayton Balsley will officiate. Interment will be in the Clarks Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., today, June 9, at the Bayview/ Freeborn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Sylvia died on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Thorne Crest North.

Sylvia Naomi Gregerson was born on October 6, 1909 in Bath Township, Freeborn County, the daughter of John and Mathilda (Carlsen) Gregerson. She attended school in District 5, Freeborn County, and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1927. After attending business college, she was employed by Federated Mutual Insurance Company in Owatonna. Sylvia later moved to Albert Lea where she was employed by the Jones Insurance Agency and the Peoples Savings and Loan for twenty years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Albert Lea, and the Wa-Tan-Ye Service Club for many years. Sylvia made her home with her sister, Lois Gregerson, in Albert Lea. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and her family.

Survivors include her sister, Lois of Albert Lea; niece, Jean and her husband James Uldrych of Maple Grove; nephew, Jonathan and his wife Kathie Gregerson of Ham Lake; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces and great-grand- nephews; and numerous cousins.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Nathan Gregerson; her sister, Vivian Ditlevson; and her nephew, Gary Jon Gregerson.
