Roselyn “Rose” M. Frydenlund, 79, Hayward

Funeral services for Roselyn “Rose” M. Frydenlund of Hayward will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Assemblies Of God Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Lee Freshour will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before at the church. Interment will be in Hayward Cemetery.
Rose died on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 79 years old.
Rose was born in rural Conger on June 6, 1924, the daughter of Fred and Sedate (Thompson) Flamme. She attended grade school at Itasca school and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1943. She was married to David Frydenlund at First Lutheran Church on Dec. 8, 1946. She lived in Kasson, Lanesboro, North Carolina, Rochester while David worked for IBM, Austin, Albert Lea and Lake Mills, Iowa, before moving to Hayward. Rose had been active in First Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school and president of Ladies Aid during 1980. She was now a member of Assemblies of God Church.
Rose had been assistant manager of Sears Roebuck order office, drove Winnebagos, sales representative for Shaklee Products, manager of Zumbro Ridge Estates in Rochester and also a farm wife. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing. Her faith and family were very important to her.
Rose is survived by her husband, David of Hayward; three sons: Mark Frydenlund and wife Lucille of Phoenix, Ariz., Kent Frydenlund and wife Alice of Richland Center, Wis., and Jim Frydenlund and wife Cindy of Lake Mills, Iowa; foster daughter, Vickie (Roe) Bruce of Byron; grandchildren: Ron, Bob, Lisa, Grant, April, Tara, Tony, Theresa, Statler, Jim, Tonya and Travis; and great-grandchildren: Brandon, Fynn, Ben, Jesse, Randy and Christopher.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents.
