Registration for fifth and sixth-grade tackle football is Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Brookside gymnasium.

Rugby club forming

River City Rugby, a Northern Iowa and, hopefully, Southern Minnesota rugby club, will begin practice for anyone interested in playing rugby this fall.

Players must be 18. No experience is necessary. Practice will be Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. at Hoover Elementary School in Mason City.
