CLARKS GROVE &045; Ida Mildenstein and Teresa Klatte finished first in a ladies two-person best-shot golf tournament at Clarks Grove Golf Course Saturday.

Mildenstein and Klatte combined for a 36 on the par-30 course.

Quarterback Club to meet

There will be a Quarterback Club (football boosters) meeting on Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Club. All parents and interested community members are invited.

Youth football registration tonight

Registration for fifth and sixth-grade tackle football is Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Brookside gymnasium.

Parents and students should both attend. Cost is $45 for registration fee and jersey.
