Dennis Allen DeRaad, age 57, of Rochester died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Rochester.

Born in Albert Lea on July 3, 1946, he was the son of Eldert and Avis (Larson) DeRaad. He married Kathlyn Markham on Dec. 10, 1988, in Rochester.

He is survived by his wife, Kathlyn of Rochester; parents, Eldert and Avis DeRaad of Clarks Grove; three brothers: Dale of Waseca, Max of Wyoming, Minn., and Keith of Bloomington; three sisters: Karen Nielsen of Eagan, and Lori Fuller and Mary Ortiz, both of Waseca; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bernard and Betty Markham of Rochester.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5-7 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4520 19th Ave. N.W., Rochester.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Clarks Grove. Burial will be at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
