Mason City golfer wins Rice Lake Amatuer

LAKE MILLS, Iowa &045; Curtis Holck of Mason City captured the championship in the 2003 Rice Lake Amateur at Lake Mills’ Rice Lake Golf Club.
Holck had a 27-hole total of 104 strokes, two better than Jay Thompson of Lake Mills, a former high school state champion. Dave Honsey of Stewartville was third at 109. Only the championship flight played 27 holes. The others were 18.
