Carolyn L. Cowles, age 39, of Roberts, Wis., died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at the Baldwin Hospital.
Carolyn was born on Jan. 26, 1964, in Albert Lea, the daughter of David and Raymona (White) Larson. She was baptized and confirmed at Concordia Bear Lake Lutheran Church in rural Albert Lea. She attended elementary and high school at Emmons, and went on to the University of Minnesota-Waseca, and from there to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she graduated in dairy science. From 1993 to 1997 Carolyn was an Instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in New Richmond, Wis. At the present time she was working on her masters degree at the University of Minnesota.
She was married to Allan Cowles on May 9, 1987, in Roberts, Wis.
Carolyn liked every aspect of the dairy business and was always very proud of showing her dairy cattle. She always found time for loving and caring for her daughters and her dogs.
Surviving are her husband, Allan; daughters: Victoria, Christina and Alexa; her parents, David and Raymona Larson; brothers: Mark (Mary) Larson of Bricelyn, and Jon (Ann) Larson of Albert Lea; and sisters, Linda (Marty) of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Lori Larson of Conger.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ray and Louise White, and Edward and Caroline Larson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wes and Doris Cowles.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Concordia Bear Lake Lutheran Church in rural Albert Lea, with burial in the Bear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be today, Oct. 21, from 5-8 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, Wis., and one hour prior to the services at the church.
