Ruth E, Klema, age 89, of Austin, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at the Austin Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 20, 1914, in Sisseton, S.D., to Christ and Eugenia (Deiken) Pederson. She graduated from Sisseton High School, then married Harold Davis. Together they had two children. Later she married Harry Klema.

Ruth was a member of St. Olaf Church. She enjoyed antique collecting and stamp collecting.

A graveside memorial service will be held today, Oct. 8,

at 2 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery with The Rev. Ronald Barnett officiating.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Stundahl of Albert Lea; son, Eldon Davis of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Gangle of Bellingham, Wash.; and brother, Magness Pederson of Sisseton, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Klema; and brother, Art Pederson.
