Hazel C. (nee Herron) Zachrison, age 94, of St. Paul, formerly of Albert Lea, died on Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.

She was born Oct. 5, 1909, in Newry Township, Freeborn County, to Stephen and Margaret Cashman Herron, She attended schools in Blooming Prairie and Business College at Mankato. She spent a 40-year career in accounting at Wilson Packing and upon retiring, lived in Roseville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J. Elwood Zachrison; five brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by stepson, Donald Zachrison and wife Nancy of North Branch; stepdaughter, Judith Peterson of St. Paul; sister-in-law, Evelyn Herron of Owatonna; eight step grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and fondly remembered by many Herron nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at The Church of St. Rose, 2048 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Visitation was from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church prior to mass.

Memorials are preferred.
