Marion C. McCullough, 79, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Marion C. McCullough, of Albert Lea, will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at First Lutheran Church, Glenville. The Rev. Mark Wendland will officiate. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Glenville. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, and one hour before service at the church.

Marion died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the Albert Lea Medical Center, following complications of a brain aneurysm. She was 79 years old.

Marion was born in Austin on June 4, 1924, the daughter of Eric and Olga (Larson) Espe. She attended country school. She was united in marriage to Claude McCullough. Marion lived in Austin, Glenville, and since 1982, in Albert Lea. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Glenville. She had worked at Land O’Lakes for many years. Marion enjoyed spending time at the cabin in the summer and Arizona in the winter. She enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and family as often she could. In her spare time she always enjoyed nature and the company of her cats and bird.

Marion is survived by her children: Claudia Christenson and husband Wilfred of Clarks Grove, Susie Klein of Albert Lea, Jim McCullough and wife Deb of Glenville, and Sheila Jensen and husband Mark of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Paula (Jessie) Hanson, David McCullough, Eddie McCullough , Mia (Norman) Barnhart, Mathias Klein, Jessica (Scott) Greve, Jason McCullough (special friend, Jamie), Jeremy (Jenny) McCullough, Tonya McCullough (special friend, Andy), Amanda Jensen (special friend, Adam), Sarah Jensen, and Jared Jensen; 13 great-grandchildren; and brothers: Merlin (Bev) Espe of Albert Lea, and Marvin (Trena) Espe of Albert Lea.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude; son, Mervin (Buck); sisters: Helen Dean, Marlys Tostenson, and Velma Houchin; and three grandchildren: Rachel, Nathaniel and Louise.

We are so thankful for the time and love spent together in our lives. Blessed be her memory.
