Roger Schultheis, 50, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Roger Dean Schultheis, age 50, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 2., 2003, after a battle with brain cancer.
Roger was born on July 16, 1953, in Austin. He spent a large part of his life in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1970. During his years in Albert Lea, Roger worked in the semitrailer repair business, but he also enjoyed racing and won several trophies. Roger’s favorite pastime, though, was riding his Harley, where he said he felt free.
Roger moved to Sioux Falls in 1993 with his three children. In 1997, Roger opened Roger’s Trailer Service, his own semitrailer repair business. He continued to ride his Harley, taking many trips with his daughter, Ashley.
Roger is survived by his parents, Dean and Elsie of Sioux Falls; a son, Matt of Northwood, Iowa; a son, Ben of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Ashley of Albert Lea; a son, Travis Quam, of Albert Lea; two brothers: Gary of Fallbrook, Calif., and Steven of Albuquerque, N.M.; and many, many friends.
Roger is loved and missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2800 E. 57th Street, Sioux Falls, on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m.
