Gwendolyn R. Thorson, age 77, of Lake Mills, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills with Rev. Roger Dykstra officiating. Burial will take place in the Salem Memorial Cemetery.

The family will greet friends today, Jan. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street W., Lake Mills.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa, the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, or the Salem Lutheran Church Kitchen Remodeling Fund.
