Lake Mills boys defeat B-K, 65-47

LAKE MILLS, Iowa &045; The Lake Mills Bulldogs boys’ basketball team defeated Belmond-Klemme 65-47 Monday.

The Bulldogs improved to 11-1 in the North Iowa Conference and 14-2 overall.

Blake Henely scored 19 points, Joe Woelfel 13 and Dan Sherman 10, including three, three-point field goals for Lake Mills.

After one quarter the score was tied 11-11. The Bulldogs led 27-17 at halftime and 44-27 after three quarters.

Lake Mills wrestling tournament Saturday

LAKE MILLS, IOWA &045; The Mills Junior Wrestling Tournament is set for Sunday, Feb. 15. Weigh-ins are from 12:30 to 1 p.m. for kindergarten, grades 1 and 2; 1 to 1:30 for grades 3 and 4; 1:30 to 2 for grades 5-6; 2 to 2:30 for grades 7-8.

Entry fee is $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
