The funeral service for JoAnn Mary Marlin, of Albert Lea, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Mike Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in St. Theodore’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

JoAnn died Friday, March 26, 2004, at the Albert Lea Medical Center at the age of 50.

JoAnn was born Sept. 9,1953, at New York Mills, Minn., to Joe and Ida (Frey) Warner. She was a graduate from Albert Lea High School and has since been a Albert Lea resident. She worked as a housekeeper for Thorne Crest South and Good Samaritan Center. JoAnn enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and growing plants and flowers.

JoAnn is survived by her two children: Amy Sanchez and her husband Dale of Hayward, and Joseph Marlin of Albert Lea, and their father, Steven Marlin, of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Olivia and Isabelle Sanchez of Hayward; her mother, Ida Warner of Albert Lea; special friend, Jeff Larsen of Albert Lea; brothers and sisters: Jim Warner and his wife Helen of North Branch, Minn., Leland Warner of Bloomington, Don Warner of Albert Lea, Judy Anderson and her husband Ed of Albert Lea, Dale Warner and his wife Jayne of Maple Grove, Minn., and Julie Jerrell and her husband Don of East Troy, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her father in 1995.
