Richard A. Bush of Redmond, Wash., passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2004. He was 84 years old.

Dick was born in Iron River, Mich., on Jan. 31,1920.

He is survived by his wife, Shizui; sons: Richard and John; daughter Mary; daughter-in-law, Geralyn; and granddaughter, Taylyn Jeanne. He is also survived by his sisters: Barbara and Alice.

Dick led a rich and varied life; born on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, he joined the Air Force in the early 40s and spent more than 30 years in Japan, where he built his own business.

Dick’s passion for life, generosity of spirit, delight in new adventures and wry sense of humor won him lasting friendships the world over.

Dick will be buried at Punchbowl Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii, next to his first wife, Jean, who preceded him in death.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, at Green Funeral Home, 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue, Wash.
