NEW RICHLAND &045; All things considered, Albert Lea High School girls’ track and field coach Margo Wayne was satisfied.

The Tigers, who missed about half their squad last week for Easter vacation, returned to action Tuesday with a second-place finish in the NRHEG Invitational at New Richland.

&uot;I think the girls competed very well considering almost half the team was coming off a week’s vacation from somewhere,&uot; said Wayne. &uot;We had some pretty good performances. A lot of our young kids showed a lot of poise and promise tonight.&uot;
